Anti Aging Diet: Foods to Avoid that cause Wrinkles

  1. I must say that these food you’ve listed are hard to ignore because they’re pretty much everywhere. I cannot completely avoid sugar and caffeine, but I can turn away from processed food and fried food. We just really need to be creative in the kitchen to come up with healthier dishes. If we go for healthier food choices, we can easily delay aging.

  2. I think that sugar is the worst thing you can consume! Sugar is as bad as a drug, if not worse. It's addictive as heron, and has such terrible effects on the health of the body, not just causing wrinkles, but increases fat storage in the body and around the vital organs. I think more people should be made aware of how bad sugar is. Thanks for sharing the article.

    1. You're right about this. The alternative is no better. Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners do even worse. I've recently tried coco sugar because it has low glycemic levels. But I still take it in moderation. We just need to teach ourselves to be disciplined when it comes to sugar consumption.

  3. As a guy, I'm not very worried about wrinkles. I figured it's something that we all can't get away from. That is until the bad eating habits catch up with you. Years of alcohol consumption and fried food binge eating can really take their toll on the skin. This article is a great reminder to ease up on the bad food list.

    1. In general, I think many men are not worried about wrinkles, unless they are celebrities. But I'm beginning to see more and more men spending on products such as moisturizer, astringents and face cream. This does not mean men are becoming more vain, but they are becoming more aware of skin health. Nowadays, soap and water just wouldn't cut it.

  4. Out of all the food items on the list, I think processed sugar is really the enemy here. There are many studies on how sugar affects the body in negative ways, and yet we still consume sugar in high quantity. Avoiding sugar also means avoiding every food and beverage that contain copious amounts of sugar. It’s a very hard thing to do, but it’s not impossible. If you value your skin as much as you value the rest of your body, you’d really minimize your sugar intake.

    1. I see how diabetes causes the body to deteriorate so fast that's why I also believe that sugar is the worst among the list. The skin loses elasticity and makes you older than your actual age. Those who are at risk of diabetes should really control their sugar intake because they could quickly lose their youthful looks (and that's not the worst part).
